At the beginning of time, when none but the Gods roamed the earth, there was a pair of equines called Andromeda and Socrates. They had a daughter, whose name has been lost by the flow of time. She is known now as The Descendant. The family of Gods lived happy lives, but the parents were not happy with the life their daughter had ahead of her, the dull life of a God. To give her something to look after, Socrates claimed a portion of the land, calling it Libertavia. Land of the Free. Andromeda gave the land life, mortals of their own form. When the Gods ascended to the heavens, their daughter stayed behind, to watch over her new land, protecting it from the eyes of the destructive creatures called 'humans.'

Though The Descendant of the Gods never showed her face to the mortal equines, they knew of her presence. To the ones that pleased her the God gave special gifts; powers. They were to be the elite, the closest to her, if only in spirit.


As time went on, The Descendant saw an unpleasant change in her beautiful land. Those equines she so loved, those she gave her gifts (and their children and children's children, who carried on the powers) were being enslaved and used for the use of the greedy mortals. The more she saw, the more the God was enraged. After centuries of seeing this torture, of seeing her land divided by slaves with magic and mortals without, she made a hard decision. She withdrew the magic from all of Libertavia.

Without magic as a deciding factor, the equines began aligning in other ways. The light-hearted took one portion of the land, the darks another, and the mixed-minded, or neutrals, a third. Again there was fighting, wars, death. The Descendant was beginning to lose faith in the mortals. Losing faith in their ability to govern themselves.

So, in her anger, she came up with a plan.

While the mortals bickered amongst themselves, she would raise a following of her own. Mortals slaves who would be used as her warriors. An army, with the powers she once bestowed upon her loyal subjects. One with which to take back her beautiful Libertavia. It might not be Land of the Free for much longer...

Where will you end up? An allied land of Light, Dark, or Neutral? Or will you be stolen away and enslaved by the enraged Descendant? Only time will tell.
