Eyes: Though Foxbound's often oddly startled looking eyes range from sandy beige all the way to a deep, sparkling emerald green, they usually meet in the middle of the spectrum as a dusty leaf-green color. The pupils are often obsidian slits, and his gaze all-knowing, but still humorous and silly, just as he is. Pelt: Foxbound has a lusciously radiating pelt of deep, bold hues. Handsome and charming as he would be, even without the deeply striking pelt and trusting face, these only add to this tom's appeal. His short, plush coat of thick, dense fur for the most part, is a wonderful, vivid tint of ginger. Normally, when padding around camp or seen from the distance, Foxbound seems almost russet, but as soon as the sunlight kisses his soft fur, it is set aflame, turning into a brilliant ginger, nearly golden color. Everything but the nearly unnoticable (until then) tabby stripes are concealed in this oddly flaming hue of golden. This stripes are, indeed, russet. Which is why they seem to disappear in the shade, when his pelt turns dark. The stripes are thin and uneven, ending randomly then starting back up, and streaking down his sides like raid across a window pane. Halfway down his wide back, an odd mingling of the stripes begins, turing into one thick stripe, slipping down his spine and all the way down his tail, until the tip, white fased to cream, then beige, then finally pure white as the deep red-ginger rings that encase it fade away. Not only is Foxbound this deep ginger, his namesake, but also has almost a tuxedo pattern of pure, bleach-like white. A milky color that divides his broad, handsome face, covers his muzzel, throat, and fluffy chest, then slips down his whole, full belly. It ubruptly ends there, but begings again about halfway down all four legs, coating his paws as well. Body: This tom is actually a massive-sized creature, though from a distance, there is an illusion of being a normal sized warrior, when approached, Foxbound seems to dramatically increase in size. He's is just a bit larger than a maine coon cat, and equally muscular. Lean, obviously, with hardly visible rippling muscles under his plush coat. Possibly because of his apple-shaped head, Foxbound gives off a softer-edged body, with round curves instead of sharp, hard lines outlining his frame. This can even make him look a bit chubby, though he's no where near. On the other hand, he does have an extremely thick layer of flesh, body protecting him in battle and adding to this rounded-look. Foxbound is a bit clumsy on long, strong and thick legs, punctuated with utterly collosal paws, and his tail is also very long and thick. Personality: Foxbound's been a mischievious cunning little kits from the start, but even as he grew, this tom never lost that spark in his eye.Tthe one that showed thick humor shrouding his tougue and words, but oozing an air of intelligence, but also innocence. Theinnocence of a naughty kittten, caught red-pawed, or even that of the kitten who never did anything. This, of course, was not Foxbound, but it's that air about him that gives off such an approachable manner, it's no wonder he makes friends so easily. the socoial butterfly of the warrior's world, persay. He's a smart guy, though. He's not all kitten-like and jokes, though that's the majority of what his many friends will see, Foxbound has a fiercer, darker side. One he prefers to unleash only when neccisary. Some even think he's a softy. A big, weak, softy because he'd rather negociate out of a battle. Buit that isnt his fault, he may be softer than most, but he's got a rougher, less conteollable, less desirable side, too. When angered greatly, frustrated, deeply stressed, or fighting, Foxound becomes a distant creature, raging and uncaring. Cold and raging, but wstill has an edge of gentleness abou him. it's nearly impossible for Foxbound to become completely hating, because he believes every cat has an ounce of goodness in them. But still, around his clan, whom he greatly loves with all of his heart, Foxbound doesnt seem like much of a deputy. He cracks joeks, teases playfully, even plays. In fact, there's nothing he loves more than a good romping bout with some kits or apprentices. This makes him a desirable father, but he's just too hard to hang onto. His only true commitment is his clan. History: KITHOOD:Wrenkit and Foxkit were always the closest, not to mention partners in crime. Wrenkit was a humble she-cat, and nervous too, but that meant she was a huge push-over, and a follower. Of course, Infernokit always saw Foxkit as the villain, and Wrenkit was much fought-over 'property' of the brothers. Foxkit was obviously always at fault, but he usually smoothly won over Wrenkit also. Sneaking out of camp was always good fun, and so was bothering the heavily pregnant queens-always so cranky. Infernokit, of course, was the good kid. Never in trouble, usually tattling, a real suck-up. He absolutely loathed his brother, though Foxkit didnt really mind him much. Foxkit wasnt, and still isnt, one to hold a grudge. Rippleflame and Dampfreeze werent really in love, but they stayed together for the sake of their litter of kits, but more as a simple pair of clanmates bound by the kits rather than a makeshift pair of lovers. They even mated with other cats, and Rippleflame was pregnant by the time they were warriors, and Dampfreeze had had two other litters with another she-cat by the time they were halfway through apprenticeship. This made the family awkward and broken, but they tried hard to be successful. Unfortunately, there were too many fights and arguements, and they had all broken up, besides Wrenkit and Foxkit, by the time they were apprentices. The kits, all three hating their parents, adopted a young female warrior as their pretend mom as she 'baby-sitted' them often, usually while their parents were off on patrol or frolicking with their other mates. Her name was Applebloom, a dainty-looking light brown tabby with ginger and white patches and green eyes. She was sweet and kind, never ceasing to spoil the kits, but still laying a firm hold over them. They all loved her dearly. As they became apprentices, she grew from their 'mom' to their best friend. APPRENTICESHIP:Foxpaw. What a nice ring! Foxpaw and Wrenpaw grew apart, but only a bit. Now, instead of getting into trouble all the time, these two formerly naughty kits were forced to focus on training, and the goals for life that began forming in their mind. For Wrenpaw? A queen. Respected, beautiful, loved. What more could she want? While Foxpaw thought she was purely ridiculous, he admired his mentor, Coalpatch so much, that his only goal was to become a wonderful mentor. Coalpatch, the white tom with black tabby spots, taught him very well. When not training with Coalpatch or chatting with Wrenpaw, Foxpaw hung out with his best friend Applebloom. Soon, to his vivid utter delight, Foxpaw found out (by sneaking around camp like a rascal) that Applebloom carried Coalpatches kits. What an indescribably wonderful thing! Foxpaw was obviously extatic, and so was Wrenpaw, if only because her best friend was having kits. These kits were named Wishkit, Pondkit, and Jetkit. Pondkit was a tiny brown tabby tom with white fur too, Jetkit was black with a white chest, and Wishkit a pale brown patched she-cat. Infernopaw was happy for the couple, but didnt involve himself with the kits. He was much too busy with his goal; leadership. It didnt really strike him that he would have to be a good mentor to be deputy, he was much too taken up with becoming an expert fighter and hunter. Infernopaw wasnt a social cat, but his mentor, Silentstreak, a lovely-looking white she-cat with a cold temperment, trained him hard and harsh. This combined with his sour kithood made a nasty combo. Still, he was a good tom deep down, and a popular choice for deputy already. Foxpaw, on the other hand, was turning into a big, friendly goofball. He was popular in the clan as a friend already. Honestly, who couldnt love such a teddy bear? Pondkit followed him faithfully and Wishkit consolled he and Wrenpaw for advice often. Jetkit, on the other hand, was always the darker kit. He usually watched Infernopaw from a distance. Once, as they grew older, their father confronted them. It was practically a lecture, as he had caught all three on a patrol. Frustrated quite thoroughly with this tom who had abandoned them and gone off and had two more litters, completely forgetting their family, they attacked him. He was severly injured in one shoulder, a wound that never healed. It kept festering, no matter how the medicine cat tended it. He died from it, but everyone in the clan brushed it off, saying it was a battle that killed him. It was, but it was because he was so hindered. When they were found fighting Dampfreeze, the three young cats were punished, but not too heavily, as Dampfreeze wasnt too popular in the clan, and the leader was a bit biased. As apprentices, the leader and 'Damppaw' had nearly had a thing, but he left her for Ripplepaw. Mostly their mentors dealt with them. Wrenpaw's mentor, a friendly but firm tom called Snakesmoke, decided that she would live in the nursery like a kit, and be treated like on, for a whole moon. This, of course, was heaven for the aspiring soon-to-be queen, though she didnt let her mentor realize this. Coalpatch, being a big softy, and Foxpaw's buddy, simply doubled his elder's den duties and tedious chores. Foxpaw didnt mind. The elders liked him, like most of the clan, and didnt pick on him too much. While he worked, they liked to tell him stories of long ago battles. Whether or not their valiant tales were true, he didnt know, but he thoroughly enjoyed it. Silentstreak, on the other hand, harshly punished Infernopaw. She convinced him she'd lost all faith in him. He'd never become deputy, or ever, ever leader. The clan would loathe him, even down to the kits. This struck deep into his heart. He worked harder than ever. Most considered this the cruelest punishment of all, but it worked well. And within the next moon these seemingly overworked apprentices were ready to be warriors. WARRIORS:Warrior at last! Infernodream gained the respect he'd been searching for all along, Foxbound, already one of the most popular cats in the clan, had many friends of all ages. Even elders, the medicine cat, kits, and warriors. He was quite lovable, after all. She-cats were even chasing him by now, though he turned most down. There were a few his wavering sensiblity couldnt fend off, thoguh eventually, he realized the negitive side of the situation, and sut the relationship gently off. Always explaining to the beautiful females that he wanted no family yet, but their friendship was key to him. And who could stay mad at that face for too long? His sister, Wrenswift, reminded him closely of these she-cats, as she picked out toms she was interested in and pursued them. Sometimes they let her down hard, and either Infernodream or Foxbound dealt with them, or they let her down easy and Foxbound befriended them, completely understanding. It bruised his heart to see her so desperate for a family, and no one interested. She was pretty and cute, after all. But he knew she would find someone eventually. The right tom would come. Of course, by now Rippleflame had her second litter with, oddly, Wrenswift's old mentor. He was a nice tom and a good father, but for some reason their mom seemed to be defective of love, and he left her after finding out she was having an affair, and at that, with a tom from another clan. Everyone in the clan knew that Snakesmoke deserved better, and were glad at this. As soon as Snakesmoke's litter grew to apprentices, the leader exiled Rippleflame, realizing she was pregant with her affair-mate's kits. She left for that clan, and wasnt ever seen again, much to ElmClan's relief. Foxbound, not surprisingly, had gotten an apprentice first out of his siblings. It wasnt Pondpaw though. He went to another clanmate, and Jetpaw went to Infernodream. Foxbound got a beige she-cat named Islandpaw. She was sweet and quiet and he enjoyed her very much, and he was sure she felt the same. In fact, he knew she felt the same, as other mentors and warriors approached him asking how he trained so well. Obviously credit went to Coalpatch, but still. What new mentor wouldnt swell with pride at these compliments? Islandpaw grew to be named Islandwish, and imediately after, Foxbound was given a tom named Cirruspaw. He was killed, struck by lightning, but was still mentored well. Ironically, Cirruspaw's brother, Wanderpaw, his mentor had been with Cirruspaw at the time. He was severely injured, and Foxbound took over the rest of Wanderpaw's training. He became Wanderfire. Infernodream, on the other hand, trained no more apprentices. He recieved no priase for mentoring either, in fact, the only claim to fame he had in the clan was being a battle hero. Still, the current deputy was sickly and growing old fast. Infernodream was a popular choice for deputy. DEPUTYSHIP:Birdflit died. She was a loved and powerful deputy. Everyone would have enjoyed her as a leader, but it was time for the current leader to choose her deputy. It was an obvious choice: Snakesmoke or Infernodream. "Foxbound!" Her voice rang out. Everyone in the clan's eyes bulged at that time. Of course everyone loved the goofball, but he was so adolescent, so innocent and cheerful. He didnt seem to be leader material. So utterly enraged by his leader's choice, Infernodream voiced his defiance about his brother that he loathed so much, and now, he hated his guts. Foxbound was appalled for a moment, but as always, let it drop. Infernodream only became more and more harsh, cruel, cold. In a short while, he was so fed up by the clan, he simply left. Later he found ShadeClan. These cats were comfortingly rude and harsh, like he had become. He joined and was renamed Infernobane. Foxbound, on the other hand, became a successful, even more loved tom within ElmClan, still rising today. Kin:SISTER;; WRENSWIFT BROTHER;; INFERNOBANE [ShadeClan]
