Takes me back....I remember such a magical place....
The dew drops clung to the solitary, and unmoving leaves of the trees. The wind whispers all of it's sweet nothings to the ferns, as they moved with rhythm in the wind. The nearby rustling of scurring animals could be heard all to clearly. The fallen leaves had been wounded and left their refuge. They rode on the breeze to where ever it may take them, as they hid in shame. A slender and sleek figure arose from the den, as the aroma of many herbs and remedies filled the air. Revealing from the den was Koileaf, as she raised her head to taste the air. She then padded into the clearing, as the tiny animals stopped moving. All was silent, at the moment, and her pools of varying colors flickered from one thing to another, inspecting all. She then strode to the entrance, her pelt glistening of many shades and colors as the sun's delicate rays striked it. She gazed out into the still forest she called 'home'. What mysteries is held, and more discoveries to be made! The slight blanketing of mist circled the trees as it embraced them. The scenery held pure innocence and beauty. She wouldn't trade a moment or sight like this for anything. She found love and joy in every part of it, missing nothing. From the small pools of water as they were stroked by the light, or the soft music of the birds as the sung their lullabyes. She took a few paw steps away from the camp, and went over to the small pool of water that formed from recent rain. She lapped a few of the crsytalline drops, that had an refreshing feeling to them. She licked the remaining drops from her jaw as she let out an relieving sigh. She stared down and gazed into the pool of aqua water. It shown the sky, and the passing by clouds that grouped together. Her reflection appeared in the image, and she did not like what she saw... she prodded the image with her paw as it faded away into nothingness. She sat back on her haunches, as she waited for the day to come up full, and for time to pass. Time? It didn't seem to matter here. She had all the time she could need. Everything went at it's pace. She peered into the never-ending sky, only to see that the clouds have passed, and only one figure arose. She sat, frozen in the moment, as if a picture and future were being painted...
Closing in,... I hope that you will find your way....
